Architectural Bureau A + Z Design Studio presented a charming apartment in Budapest, Hungary. Miniloft project - a fantastic conversion of an abandoned studio of the artist in residence for designers A + Z Design Studio.

They use it as a second home, and then live their daughter, who is studying in another country, arriving on vacation. Room in the heart of the city with great views of the central attractions looked like since the Second World War it stopped time. Easels and frames were then everywhere. The space of 50 square meters were in a terrible state, but the designers did not just want to restore it, but also to preserve the vintage atmosphere of the studio, its history. Original windows and iron radiators, chair of the tree in the Bauhaus style, antique carpets, green chest of drawers, a wooden dining table and industrial gray light filled the space and are perfectly combined with each other. Italian cabinet in an industrial style separates the living area from the bed. The storage system, sink and hours in the kitchen purchased in IKEA. Dark oak floor repainted in warm gray color, to achieve the effect of an art gallery. At the flea market found a metal letters and a mirror, bathroom tiles chosen in the industrial style and traditional sink brought from Romania. Photos: Csaba Barbay
