• National Geographic Photo Contest 2015
National Geographic magazine has opened its annual photo contest, to participate in which all interested persons can. The winner will receive $ 10, 000 and a trip to the headquarters of the National Geographic in Washington, DC, to attend the annual seminar on photography.
We suggest you look at the work of some of the contenders for victory, pre-selected by their editor author's comments. Photos for the contest will be accepted until November 16th. Perhaps one of you can make them compete!

Life on the edge of the Faroe Islands. Immediately upon arrival at the island I came to this stunning cliffs. Conditions for shooting were not the most successful - the fog was so strong that the mountains in the background was not visible at all. But I was so inspired by this magical place that I decided to wait. I had plenty of time to explore the area and enjoy the views, and then the magic happens. (Author: Marco Grassi)

I found this amazing field in his first morning in VALENSOLE, France. I woke up at 4 in the morning and went in search of locations for shooting. After 30 minutes, I found myself in this field ideally suited to me. I was here all alone and had never seen him in the photo. I stayed there for 3 days, but this place - the best that I could find. This frame is made in South Georgia in December 2014. Perhaps this was the most outstanding highlight of my trip to Antarctica - I was among hundreds of thousands of penguins, feeling a clear minority and glad that in the world there are still places that have preserved its beauty, unspoiled by human intervention.
