Instead of a brush - head screwdriver and screwdriver
I would never have thought that of conventional screws, you can create a work of art.
It took the author 20 000 screws of different lengths and colors to create this amazing "picture", which total weight is just over 160 kilograms.
Half painting, half sculpture, study of the balance of chaos and harmony. So it is possible to describe "moral decline" (Descent), a work of art of the artist Bruce McCloy (Bruce Mackley) - industrial mosaic of more than 20,000 screws, carefully screwed into pine board at different depths.
"This technique can be tedious and complex - says McCloy - but at the same time offers an incredible opportunity to change or cancel do."
According to the artist, the work on this piece of art took him hundreds of hours, during which he carefully screwed screws, trying to achieve the desired effect.
Weighing more than 160 kilograms and a height of about 2 meters, this mosaic is a difficult target for transport, so was forced to make a special trolley to move it McCloy.
