Apple has sold more than two million iPhone 5 in China
The last Friday in China started selling the iPhone 5. Over the first weekend the Chinese bought more than two million smartphones, while for the entire third quarter of 2012 were sold the same number of iPhone 4S predecessor devices.
Apple CEO Tim Cook said that China is a very important market for the company, and stressed that this weekend a record number of Apple smartphones were sold in the country. Revenues from sales in China account for 16% of the company's profits.
In Russia, the iPhone 5 also appeared on December 14, but willing to buy among Russians was much less. Estimated retailers over the weekend was not sold more than 8 million smartphones.
