Tesla luring executives from Amazon, Apple and Snap
Last week it became known that the head of Tesla left Autopilot software development - it enticed to Lyft. Apparently, the company is difficult for retention of the big bosses. But Tesla wants to prove the opposite. Over the past few weeks, joined the company new leaders who had previously worked in giant companies: Amazon, Apple, Snap.
You should start with veteran machine learning Stuart Bowers (about his transition became known on May 22), who left the Snap, to become vice-president of the Tesla hardware and software. Head of Apple technical operations Neeraj Manrao now is Tesla as Director of Energy Production. Logistics Director at Amazon Mark Mastandrea is now engaged in the delivery of cars in Tesla. Even from Walmart left Technical Lead - Kate Pierson led the operations delivery in the Tesla. These and other changes in the higher circles of the big companies are not finally and irrevocably, and the battle for good leaders never faltered. Now, however, the Tesla, like anyone else, needs a competent guide, in light of the problems with the production of Tesla Model 3. Newcomers leaders will have to work hard to the company entered into a plus, as promised by Elon Musk, 3-4 quarter of 2018.
