Roselectronika will produce 5G-transistors

While in Russia preparing for the transition to mobile communication standard 5G, the Research Institute of Electronic Engineering in Voronezh, part of the holding "Russian Electronics" starts issuing 5G- transistors.

Roselectronika will produce 5G-transistors

The company reported that devices with output power of 5 to 50 W, the power gain - from 9 to 13 dB, the efficiency of flow - at least 45% at a test frequency of 4 GHz and 2 GHz 9. Transistors manufactured by the Voronezh Research Institute, fully interchangeable with the imported counterparts, so are suitable for any type of equipment without the need for additional improvements. Domestic transistors have been tested on radio stations, radar equipment of airports and drones, which showed an excellent performance. Now the products of the Voronezh Research Institute tested twenty different companies. By using transistors based on gallium nitride developers were able to reduce the size of power supplies, adapters and chargers. Due to downsizing and weight decreased, so that new products can be used in various devices, transport and electrical engineering.
